Welcome to the
Photosint Stakeholder Platform

The PHOTOSINT Multistakeholder Platform is conceived as a collaborative ecosystem that brings together academic researchers, industry actors, policymakers, technology providers, and other relevant stakeholders to accelerate innovation in the transition from fossil-based fuels to renewable energies. More specifically, hydrogen and methanol generated through artificial photosynthesis will directly support the energy and feedstock demands of chemical manufacturing processes.

About PHOTOSINT
PHOTOSINT is a European research project focused on developing a breakthrough technology to produce fuels via artificial photosynthesis, and to enable their integration into the chemical industry’s energy needs. Its target products are hydrogen and methanol, produced from industrial resources such as CO₂ and water-based waste streams.
Launched in June 2023, the project aligns with the European Green Deal, the Paris Agreement targets, and the EU 2030 Climate & Energy Framework. PHOTOSINT aims to support Europe’s shift toward climate neutrality, strengthen local fuel and chemical supply, and prioritise renewable sources and environmental preservation.
